Tradesmith is celebrating a performance milestone: its twentieth anniversary in the industry. Continual investment in machinery, vehicles and the recent move into a new factory has seen the Hailsham-based trade-only business increase its production from 40 to 400 frames a week over the past two decades and more than quadruple its workforce.

Managing Director Mark Hutchinson said,

“Over the past 20 years we have manufactured over (number) windows and doors – an achievement that all our staff can be proud of. We have built up a reputation for offering a wide range of high quality products as well as first-class service. This is due to the commitment of our people who ensure our customers receive the most professional care possible”

Mark added “Twenty years is a long time in fabrication and, with an ever changing economic climate, only those businesses that exceeded consumer expectations continue to thrive. We have the right products and the right people to ensure we can further develop the business and still be around to celebrate our thirtieth anniversary.”

Tradesmith have signed a new three-year supply agreement with Veka-owned systems company Halo. The new deal continues to give Tradesmith customers, under its TS Collection brand, access to the two leading profiles – System10 & Rustique.  The result is a huge choice in design styles that enables truly bespoke products to be offered to homeowners.

Founded in 1993, Tradesmith has gone from fabricating 40 windows in its first week to currently making 400 frames per week (fpw). It is a trade-only company – ensuring high focus on quality and customer service – and has an extensive portfolio of products (including composite doors, conservatory roofs, and architectural products) that provides everything installers need to prosper.

Tradesmith has been with Halo since the company’s foundation 20 years ago, and Managing Director Mark Hutchinson says the renewed commitment to Halo is founded upon the company’s focus on customer service, plus the promise of enhanced ranges of coloured and foiled products on the horizon.

Mark said: “The Tradesmith business sprang from an engineering background, which was a key factor in taking on the systems as they have a similar pedigree. Excellent, engineered products from Halo, along with our and their joint commitment to first-class customer service, have been critical to the growth and ongoing success of
the business”.
